Drop Dead Weird nominated for the 51st AWGIE Awards

The Australian Writer's Guild have announced their finalists for the 51st AWGIE Awards. We are excited to announce that Drop Dead Weird's writer Joel Slack-Smith has been nominated for the children's television award. Congratulations to all the nominees in this category: 

  • Drop Dead Weird: 'Letter in a Bottle' – Joel Slack-Smith 

  • Grace Beside Me: 'Love Me, Love Me Not' – Giula Sandler 

  • Mustangs FC: 'Flawless' – Magda Wozniak 

This year’s award ceremony celebrates the nation’s best storytellers, those performance writers judged to have written the best scripts in the past year. The ceremony is taking place on Thursday the 30th of August at the City Recital Hall, Sydney.
